About revival servers

Revival servers are unofficial. They are rebuilt by reverse engineering, and none is endorsed by the company that owned the original platform. Most ship no game files and expect you to supply your own copy of the client. Whether running one is legal depends on where you live and is unsettled. We list them as facts, not recommendations, and give no setup instructions.

No server revival exists for AltspaceVR, Facebook Spaces, Oculus Venues or vTime XR.

Finding servers

Public server lists

Overte

Places directory

The public metaverse server lists domains in the Places app inside the Overte client.

Exploring in Overte
Resonite

Session browser

Public sessions, headless servers included, appear in the session browser inside Resonite.

Everyone else

No shared list

Basis, Hubs and Hyperfy servers and the Rec Room revivals each run on their own, and you connect by address. We found no public directory for any of them.
