About

A record of where people met

Social VR platforms open and close faster than anyone writes them down. This directory keeps track of them.

What gets listed

The rules

A platform is listed if meeting other people in VR is its main purpose, or one of its main purposes. Browser platforms count if they run in a headset browser. Platforms with no VR support are left out, and so are those whose VR support we could not confirm.

Closed platforms stay listed, with the date they closed. Each listing links to the platform itself or, once it has gone, to a report of its closure.

Statuses, dates and star counts were checked on 18 October 2026. They are a snapshot, and some will already be out of date.
